Our Relationship

This is the official declaration of the purpose with which I undertake every relationship, and everyone who is sent to me for the temporary help which I am able to provide.  I will not waiver or bend or compromise on this purpose for any reason. Ever.  In form, our relationship may be short or life long, passive or active, this does not matter, the purpose is always the same.

It is important for you to understand that I learn what I teach.  I choose what I teach you based on what I myself wish to learn.   All that we may experience together will add strength to both you and me.  I am grateful to everyone who is sent to me, without you, my brothers and sisters, I would be unable to learn.

We are equals as souls, but this does not imply that we are right now equal in our faith and understanding.  It is an aspect of this world that our minds appear to be in a different spot on the journey to awakening.  My greater trust and experience does not make me better than you or more than you.  The work we do together must equalize us, because the work we do is the giving up of separation.  I will not join with you in pain and limitation, and instead will wait until you join me in the remembrance of God and God’s will for our and all relationships.

I promise to be devoted to being truly helpful to you.  I promise to do as I am asked and to consult my own divine guide, which guides me in my work within this world.  No matter how unconventional this help may appear to be, and no matter how it makes me appear.  This guide is my sole authority on how to be helpful.  How I can be helpful to you is not your decision, for if you knew what is amiss, you would not be in need of help.

If you experience miraculous changes in anything as a result of our work together, then so be it.  I am not the source of these changes, the power of your mind is.  It is your own power that will heal you, I have no power that you do not have.  It is our power joined with itself that accomplishes all miracles.  I can share my faith in you with you, until you learn to have faith in yourself, in others and in God.

I am here to remind you that the world you seem to live in is just a dream. I am here to remind you that you are innocent, that all the guilt you perceive within yourself and in others is not the truth. I am here to help you to live a fearless life, and to learn how to use to power of your mind.  The way this is done is to allow your own internal teacher to re-align your perception so that you may use the laws of the kingdom properly.  The human condition is one in which the mind’s perception is upside down, and the laws of the kingdom are used to hide the kingdom and not used to increase it.

It is my task not to give support to the beliefs with which you have imprisoned yourself.  It does not matter what form these ideas take. It does not matter how justified or common they may appear to be.  Still, they are the very ideas that are causing you pain.  When I do not support these false beliefs, I am actively weakening them in your mind, and keeping my mind clear of them as well.  As I do this, I am also giving strength and support to what is real within us both.

I am not here to teach you how to be “spiritual”, but to help you to experience yourself as spirit, and so to identify with your own reality.  I am not here to pity you or babysit you.  I am not here to give you false love and compassion. In my eyes you are spirit, strong, unharmable and maker of your dreams.  I do not see you as victim to your world, to your body or to your dreams. Of this, and only this, I will remind you. At times you may not realize that this is love.

First and foremost I will help you to regain awareness of your own thinking. As you do this, you will slowly become more and more aware of your own internal teacher. At this point, you are very likely to still place major limitations on your own internal teacher and its ability to communicate with you.  Nor will you understand the difference between the ego and the Voice for God. Which is why you may still require external help in learning to discern between these two voices.

At times, you may think you hate me. At times, you may feel that I am attacking you. At times you may feel as if I am the cause of your pain.  This seeming conflict is not a sign of my failure or yours.  The resistance and defensiveness of the ego temporarily increases as its underpinnings are exposed.  I am not deceived by this, nor will I accept any of it as the truth about you or our relationship.  All must get past this point, and no one with a desire to awaken can fail to do so.  I will do my best to help you push through this resistance, to hasten your steps and avoid delay.

However, the best and most efficient way in which you learn is simply by experiencing the effects of your own thinking.   So I will not interfere with your experience of them, but I will help you see that they are the effects of thoughts that you were previously unaware of.

I fully expect us to succeed in the task that was given us by God.  I promise to do my part, and I trust in you to do yours.  May our divine relationship bless the whole world.
